Welcome to the first step of importing your dream parts! Anonymous Stylie is here to help make that dream a reality but we need to make sure you understand a few things before it happens. Please read through this guide thoroughly so you completely understand the process.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT SOURCING PARTS/FILLING CONTAINER’S AT THIS TIME

When purchasing items in Japan, there are two routes you can take. “For Reserve” are items that we have acquired for our container which you can reserve with a deposit. We also offer a “Special Request” service. If you desire a specific item, you can ask us to find it for you. See both of the corresponding sections below for more details.

 

PARTS FOR RESERVE:

for reserve have already been acquired by Anonymous Stylie and added to the container.

They are then posted to Instagram with a price for someone to claim. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the item for you. After that you can sit back until the item reaches the United States. Once it has arrived in Littleton, Colorado and is available, you are responsible for paying the other 50% as well as the shipping cost from Anonymous Stylie to you. Items are also available for local pickup to save you shipping charges.



Payment Breakdown:

Primary Payment: Due at time of reserve - 50% of item price, non-refundable

 

Final Payment: Due once the item is available at our CO facility - remaining 50% of item price + shipping, if applicable

*You will have fifteen (15) days from the date of availability to decide your shipping method, if applicable, and pay any balance due. On day sixteen (16), a storage fee of $10 a day will be imposed. After ninety (90) days without payment for any balance due + storage fees, your deposit is forfeited and the item will be listed for sale on our website.

SPECIAL REQUEST PARTS:

Unable to find a certain kit for your car, or found a part on a Japanese auction site but have no way to buy it? With our Special Request service, we can use our knowledge of the Japanese sales channels to look for that specific part that you’re interested in or purchase a specific part from a Japanese auction site. This process will work differently from our For Reserve parts, so read carefully. 

 

For Special Request items that are “Buy It Now” format, we require payment in full, up front. Once payment is received we will purchase the item on your behalf. For items which are auction format, we will ask your maximum bid price. If we win the auction on your behalf, payment in full is due immediately. Please note your maximum bid price is for the item itself. Any commission or sourcing fees as well as flat-rate container shipment fee is in addition to the item price or your maximum bid price. 

 

This payment in full is non-refundable and is equal to the price of the item or final auction price, shipping from the seller to our container, a 30% commission fee, a 5% finders fee (only if we had to find the item for you) and a flat-rate container shipping fee dictated by what kind of part you are acquiring, see chart below. Once it has arrived in Littleton, Colorado and is available, you are responsible for the shipping cost from Anonymous Stylie to you. Items are also available for local pickup to save you shipping charges.



Japan Part Buying

Payment Breakdown:

“Buy It Now” Format Primary Payment: Due before item is purchased - 100% of item cost + Japanese shipping + 30% commission of item cost + 5% sourcing fee (if applicable) + flat-rate container fee, non-refundable

 

Auction Format Primary Payment: Due immediately after auction is won - 100% of item cost + Japanese shipping + 30% commission of item cost + 5% sourcing fee (if applicable) + flat-rate container fee, non-refundable

 

Final Payment, if applicable: Due once the item is available at our CO facility - US shipping

Example: 

Tyler wants us to find an Aimgain front bumper for his UCF20 LS400, but he did not provide us with a link. We find one on auction and ask Tyler for his maximum bid price. Tyler tells us $150 is his maximum. 

 

We win the Aimgain bumper for $125. Fees are calculated at $37.50 (30%) for the commission fee and $6.25 (5%) for the sourcing fee, since he did not provide us with a link to the item. The seller charges $52.50 for shipping to our container. Our flat-rate container shipping fee for a front bumper is $150. $125 + $37.50 + $6.25 + $52.50 + $150 = $371.25 Tyler is responsible for this $371.25 payment immediately.

 

From there, Tyler waits while the container fills up, is shipped to the US, clears the US port, and is shipped to Anonymous Stylie in Littleton, Colorado. Once the container has been inventoried we notify him it’s available. He is unable to pick it up in person so he asks for a freight and UPS shipping quote. After being provided with both quotes, he decides to go with freight since it is cheaper. He is responsible for the $35 shipping charges and once that’s paid we will ship the bumper to him.

Tyler’s total cost on the bumper was $371.25 + $35 = $406.25. Not Bad!



SCHEDULE:

  • Container Lead Time (~3 Months)

    Lead times will vary depending on how full the container is when an item is added, or reserved. We anticipate containers to come in every 3 months. But this can vary significantly due to other factors outside our control such as weather, shipping delays, port backups, etc. We will do our best to keep any customers updated on the status of the container.

  • Port Arrival (Up to 2 Weeks)

    Once the container has arrived at the port in the United States, it must be inspected and cleared by United States customs. This process can take anywhere between a day to two weeks for it to be cleared. Once it has cleared customs it will be en route to us in Littleton, Colorado.

  • Colorado Arrival (1-2 Weeks)

    fter arrival at our facility in Colorado, all items are sorted through and inventoried in order to make sure everything is accounted for. This usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. Once this process is complete, we contact all customers to let them know their item is ready for pickup or to ship. If we believe that any items are not as advertised in their Japanese listing, we will reach out to you to discuss options.

  • Storage and Final Payment (15 Days)

    You will have fifteen (15) days from the date of availability to decide your shipping method (if applicable) and pay any balance due. On day sixteen (16), a storage fee of $10 a day will be imposed. After ninety (90) days without payment for any balance due, your deposit is forfeited and the item will be listed for sale on our website.

CONTAINER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Shipping and Handling

Once container items have arrived at our facility and been sorted and prepped, customers will be contacted to ask whether they would like to pick it up or have it shipped.

 

In-store pick-up in Littleton, Colorado can be arranged for Monday through Thursday. In store pickup and final payment must be done within 15 days of items being readily available.

 

For items being shipped, we will ask if you have a preferred shipping method, and provide you with shipping quotes from the methods you desire. Shipping method and final payment must be settled within 15 days of items being readily available. Please remember that almost all delivery services will only deliver Monday through Friday, except for USPS. For large or odd-shaped items such as full kits or bumpers, freight is usually the cheapest way to get your item(s) shipped to you. 

 

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to verify that all shipments are sent to the desired destination. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, or no one being home to receive the package, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the package.

 

Returns & Refunds

No returns. Anonymous Stylie specializes in used products, and being used, flaws such as chipping and cracking due to normal use is expected. Because these items have not been handled by us in person at the time of purchase, we are unable to call out specific points of damage. Undisclosed damage is not grounds for a return or refund on either For Reserve items or Special Request items. If we believe an item is significantly different then advertised, we will contact the customer to discuss before the item leaves our CO facility.

 

Selling the car, changing your mind, or not being able to afford the balance due are not valid grounds for a refund. We understand that the purchasing and shipping process takes longer than normal but we do our best to keep you updated as possible throughout the process so you can expect when the balance will be due.

All For Reserve items are secured with a non-refundable 50% deposit. If you do not pay the balance due and shipping cost upon arrival in CO, you will forfeit your deposit.

 

All Special Request orders are paid for in full up front, no exceptions. Please be sure that this is the item you want and are sure it will fit before asking us to secure it for you. If you do not pay the shipping cost due upon arrival in CO, you will forfeit your purchase.
